1. The agreement
Sero is made and run by Sxr, an individual developer. By creating an account or playing the game, you agree to these terms.
How we handle your data is covered separately in our privacy policy.
2. Your account
- You must be 13 or older to have a Sero account
- One sign-in is one account. Signing in with a different Google or Apple account creates a separate account, and accounts cannot be merged or linked
- You are responsible for what happens on your account. Do not share your sign-in with anyone, and do not use anyone else's
- Accounts are personal. You may not sell, rent or transfer one
3. Playing fair
Do not:
- Cheat, use bots, macros, modified clients or anything that automates play
- Exploit bugs instead of reporting them
- Attack, overload or interfere with our servers, or try to reach parts of them you are not meant to
- Harass, threaten, bully or abuse other players
- Post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content in server chat or in your name
- Spam, advertise or try to scam other players
- Pretend to be a moderator, an admin or another player
Use common sense. If it would make the game worse for the person next to you, do not do it.
4. Moderation
We can mute an account, ban it, reset an offensive username, or remove a cosmetic, when these terms are broken. Serious or repeated breaches mean a permanent ban.
We try to be proportionate, but the decision is ours. If you think we got it wrong, email supportsero@gmail.com and we will look at it again.
A banned account cannot be deleted from inside the game. This stops a ban being erased by deleting the account. If you are banned and want your data deleted, follow the email route on the deletion page.
No refunds are given for time lost to a ban, including time on a paid subscription.
5. Usernames
Your name is visible to every other player. It must not be offensive, impersonate someone, or break any of the rules in section 3. We can reset a name that does.
A reserved username is held for your account while the account exists. It is not owned by you, and it becomes available again if your account is deleted.
6. Coins, skins and other in-game items
- Coins and skins are in-game items only. They are not money and have no value outside the game
- They cannot be cashed out, transferred between accounts, or sold
- You are buying a licence to use them inside Sero, not property you own
- Purchases of in-game items are final and non-refundable, except where the law says otherwise
- We may change prices, availability, and how items behave in the game, including for balance reasons
- If your account is deleted, your items are deleted with it and cannot be recovered
7. Sero Gold and Sero Platinum
Gold and Platinum are optional paid subscriptions that unlock cosmetic and convenience perks. They do not let you win a match that you would otherwise lose.
Price and billing
Both plans can be paid monthly or yearly. Paying for a full year up front costs noticeably less than twelve monthly payments.

Subscriptions are bought inside the game, not on this website. The saving compares the yearly price against twelve monthly payments at the euro prices above. VAT is included where it applies to you.
Prices in your country
The prices above are our euro reference prices. Sero is sold through the Google Play Store, which sets a separate local price, in your own currency, for every country it operates in.
Your local price is not always an exact conversion of the euro price. It is rounded to a normal-looking amount for your region, and local sales tax differs from country to country, so what you pay can be slightly higher or lower than the euro figure. For the same reason, the yearly saving where you live can come out slightly above or below the 30% and 40% quoted above.
The price the Google Play Store shows you when you subscribe is the price you pay. That is the figure that counts, it is always shown in your own currency, and you always see it before you confirm anything.
Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and your Google Play payment method is charged again, until you cancel. There is no separate reminder before each renewal.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time in the Google Play Store app, under Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not end the period you have already paid for, so your perks stay active until that period runs out.
Deleting your Sero account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it first.
Refunds
Subscriptions are billed by Google, not by us, so refunds are handled by Google through the Play Store. We cannot issue one. Your statutory rights to a refund, including the 14-day right of withdrawal if you are in the EU or the UK, are unaffected.
When a subscription ends
- Subscription perks stop, including any cosmetic that the subscription itself granted
- Skins and items you bought with coins stay yours
- Your account, level, records and friends are untouched
- A reserved username that required a subscription is released
Changes
We may change the price or what a subscription includes. We will tell you before a price change affects you, and you will have the chance to cancel before it takes effect.
8. Availability
Sero is provided as-is. We do not promise it will always be online, bug-free, or that your progress can never be lost, although we obviously try.
We may change the game, add or remove features and modes, take servers down for maintenance, or stop running the service. If we ever shut Sero down for good, we will give notice in the game beforehand where we reasonably can.
9. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete account in the game. See the deletion page for what is deleted, what is kept, and the 31-day grace period.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost progress or in-game items, or for anything another player says or does to you.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stand regardless of what this section says.
11. Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top of this page when these terms change. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
